Frontline for Dogs and How It Works 

It acts by direct contact with the parasites, and not through the bloodstream. It kills fleas within 24 hours, and they don’t have to bite the dog to die.  

How to Apply Frontline for Dogs

 

Select the correct size pipette for the dog’s weight. Hold the pipette upright, tap the narrow part of the pipette to make sure the contents are in the main body, then break the pipette along the lines. Pull apart the coat between the shoulder blades until you see the skin, then place the pipette tip on the skin and squeeze out the contents. It is best to do it here because the dog cannot lick it off. 

Which pack of frontline for which dogs 

This breaks up conveniently into 5 groups, please note no frontline for dogs to be given to a dog less that 2kg in weight

1.      Small dog of 2 – 10kg 

2.      Medium dog of 20-20kg 

3.      Large dog of 20-40kg 

4.      Extremely large dog of 40-60kg 

5.      For even bigger dogs over 60kg apply 2 pipettes of large Dog Size 

How often are Applications of frontline for dogs needed  

Very simply every 2 months for fleas, ticks about a month, but the minimum is 4 weeks
